Principal Duties and Responsibilitiesosition Summary:
The Lead Advocate is responsible for leading the day to day operations of the Domestic Violence shelter environment and direct services staff. In addition, this position provides support to clients both in shelter and through a hotline, who are survivors of domestic violence/ sexual assault/human trafficking and their children. This support may include one-on-one interaction, support groups, and community collaboration. The Lead Advocate collects, analyzes, and reports essential PQI data.
Essential Job Functions:
Assist in the day to day operations of the Domestic Violence Shelter and the Domestic Violence Hotline. This includes direct client services as needed, particularly related to crisis management.
Plan, organize, and assign day to day work for shelter staff. Facilitate problem resolution under the guidance of the program Director.
Assist with staff training and mentoring with support of program Director.
Collect, analyze, and report relevant program data as an active participant in PQI activities. Maintain up to date information through our data tracking program to ensure efficacy of program and compliance with grant expectations.
Manage employee schedules and ensure coverage of a 24 hour residential setting.
Review program model and suggest modifications as needed to improve program services under the guidance of program Director and Agency leadership.
Perform other duties as assigned.
Reliable attendance is an expectation.

Working knowledge of domestic violence/sexual assault and the needs, problems, and attitudes related to victims

Ability to understand and adhere to policies and procedures related to Protected Health Information (PHI)/Personally Identifiable Information (PII); (This position has access to PHI/PII and is limited under the minimum necessary rule to the amount of information necessary to perform assigned duties.)
Computer skills, including MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook, Microsoft TEAMS, and skill in operating office equipment (fax, copier, etc.)
Using Database System to collect and report data needed for stakeholder reports.
Required of All Positions:
Knowledge and support of Catholic Charities’ purpose, mission, vision, values, and ethical standards.
Knowledge and support of the Catholic Charities Compliance Program requirements including – but not limited to – the Code of Ethics, the Compliance Policy, and all relevant compliance procedures.
Ability to demonstrate sensitivity to the service population’s cultural and socioeconomic characteristics.
Education and Experience
Minimum of 2 years related direct service experience. Experience providing service to domestic violence clients strongly preferred
Minimum of 1 year leading a team preferred
Experience working with data collection, analysis, and entry preferred.
