Principal Duties and Responsibilities

Responsible for state reporting/audits and submission of necessary documents as required by the state of Nebraska guidelines, managing lunch accounts, and facilitating food ordering with Westside.
Responsible for preparation of meals.
Responsible for serving meals.
Responsible for special diets.
Responsible for cleaning all areas of the kitchen.
Responsible for cleaning of all dishes, utensils, and equipment.
Obtain Professional Standards hours and attend
State Trainings

Follow all instructions as part of Douglas County Inspections relating to:
Food Preparation
Sanitation Practices
Safety measures
Proper work techniques


Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

Basic technology skills
Ability to interact with students, building staff, and supervisors in a positive manner.
Maintain a pleasant working relationship with fellow employees
Must be able to react to change productively and handle other essential tasks as assigned.

Education and Experience

High School diploma or equivalent
Experience in the food service industry is a plus

Hours of employment are typically 6:30 AM- 2PM when school is in full day session.
175 days.
40 hrs a week
