Principal Duties and Responsibilities
Resource/Reception Advocates meet individually with women to provide a listening ear and support while administering pregnancy tests and STI screenings. Resource/Reception advocates are also trained to assist and process client paperwork and to share community resources. Other administrative and center projects as needed.Requirements
Knowledge, Skills, and AbilitiesAll volunteer positions require participants to support and promote the mission of Essential Pregnancy Services. Additional detail can be found at friendsofeps.org. Volunteers are trained for all positions at EPS.
Education and Experience
Resource and Reception advocates need to be a legal adult. (19 years of age). No additional education is required to begin service.
Volunteer Shifts are 2 or more hours during open hours. Volunteers are asked to give 2 shifts a month. Volunteer set their shifts so it is convenient with their lifestyle.
Hours of the Bellevue Location are:
Thursday 11 am-7 pm
Friday 8 am - 1 pm.
Every other Saturday 8 am - noon.
