POSITION TITLE: Intern of Latino School Enrollment

HOURS PER WEEK: 20 Hours Per Week

POSITION SUMMARY
Under the direction and supervision of the Coordinator of the Latino School Enrollment, the intern will develop bilingual and marketing abilities while produce material for media outlets in English and Spanish.

PRINCIPAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
• Under the direction and supervision of the Coordinator of the Latino School Enrollment, the intern will develop bilingual and marketing abilities while produce material for media outlets in English and Spanish and translates documents.
• Examine our current marketing calendar and provide insights to improve it, according to Catholic Schools, Catholic Church, and the Latino culture.
• Edit our database of videos and pictures and make them ready to post them in our different outlets.
• Produce videos with high-quality material to post in the media and advertising.
• Take pictures of the Catholic school daily life and create a database with them and put it available for the Catholic School Office as well
• Create a year-round of material to post on Facebook, Instagram, and Twitter, according to the marketing calendar
• Create ads to post in magazines and newspapers for a year-round, according to the marketing calendar.
• Translate content and documents

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES
• Knowledge of media and marketing.
• Proficient in video and photography editing.
• Ability to understand, speak, and write in English and Spanish languages with accuracy and clarity
• Ability to establish strong, positive, interpersonal relations with a variety of personalities and work styles; understanding of the need for situational confidentiality and attention to business ethics.
• Proficient in computer and keyboard skills as well as an ability to learn and effectively use software relevant to job duties.
• General knowledge of the Catholic Church and its mission.
• Unimpeachable ethical standards and personal integrity.
• Continually striving for the highest standards of work and seeking ways to improve.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
• Current college student, graduate student, or recent college graduate.
• Bilingual skills Spanish and English
• Marketing, communication, or advertising knowledge.

HOURS, START DATE, AND DURATION
• The intern schedule is flexible within business hours (8:30 a.m. – 5:00 p.m.) and there may be some weekend and evening appointments.
• A firm commitment of 20 hours per week is required. Hours will vary from week to week

WORKING CONDITIONS: PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
• Routine office environment; ADA-accessible building.
• Requires sitting for the majority of work duration; involves typing and other repetitive movement.
