Principal Duties and Responsibilities
St. Vincent de Paul School is looking for a dependable and hardworking Main Cook to join our kitchen team! Position is 5 days a week for all days that school lunch is served. Hours are 7:30 am to 2:00 pm. If you enjoy cooking and working in a team environment, we would love to hear from you!Requirements
Knowledge, Skills, and AbilitiesPreparing the daily main entree following provided recipes and assisting with other meal preparation. Help with kitchen clean-up and maintain a clean work area. Support other cafeteria staff members by assisting with cleaning, prepping and cooking tasks. Serving meals to students with positive role modeling. Take part in annual continuing education/training programs.
Education and Experience
While prior food service experience is preferred, we are open to candidates who may not have direct experience but possess the right skills and qualities. If you are a qualified and motivated individual, we are happy to provide the necessary training to ensure your success in this role.
