Reports to: Jeanne Stover, PrincipalPrincipal Duties and Responsibilities
-Assist the teacher with daily activities.-Understanding of early childhood development, ability to follow routines and anticipate where help is needed, enthusiasm for working with young children, great team player, flexible, loving, patient.
-Primary duties and responsibilities are to support teachers and students. This may include, but is not limited to, working with students, supervision of duties, general classroom support.
-This position follows the school calendar August-May.
-Part-time position up to 29 hours per week.
-Teaching certificate not required.
Requirements
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities-Previous experience working with children is preferred but not required
-Some knowledge of child development or education is preferred but not required.
Education and Experience
-High School diploma or GED
-Archdiocese of Omaha Safe Environment Training
-Complete a background check
