Principal Duties and Responsibilities

7–12 Science Teacher (Biology Focus)
Guardian Angels Central Catholic is seeking a mission‑driven 7–12 Science Teacher. This full-time position begins in the 2026 school year and offers the chance to teach in a supportive, faith-filled, academically strong school community.

What You’ll Do

Teach middle school science and high school biology using clear, engaging, standards-based lessons
Create a classroom environment that encourages inquiry, problem‑solving, and hands‑on learning
Plan labs, projects, and assessments that meet the needs of all learners
Integrate Catholic values into daily teaching and school life
Participate in school Masses, events, and student activities
Communicate regularly with students, families, and colleagues

Requirements

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
Bachelor’s degree in Science Education or Middle Level with a Science Endorsement
Nebraska Teaching Certificate (or ability to obtain one)
Strong instructional and classroom‑management skills
Commitment to Catholic education and student growth
Positive communication, organization, and teamwork skills
Willingness to grow through collaboration and professional development

Education and Experience
Bachelor’s degree in Science Education or Middle Level with a Science Endorsement
Nebraska Teaching Certificate (or ability to obtain one)
Strong instructional and classroom‑management skills
Commitment to Catholic education and student growth
Positive communication, organization, and teamwork skills
