Principal Duties and Responsibilities

The School Counselor at Guardian Angels Central Catholic (GACC) supports students’ academic, personal, and spiritual development through a student-centered, mission-driven approach. The counselor ensures each student is on track for graduation, actively engaged in academic planning, and prepared for postsecondary success across college, career, military, and vocational pathways. The role emphasizes transparent scheduling practices, strong family partnership, early preparation beginning in grades 7–8, and alignment with the mission and values of Catholic education. This position may also include guidance and Social-Emotional Learning lessons for grades K-6.

Starting Date would be the end of July, specific date negotiable.
Starting Base Salary for 2026-2027 is $37,966.96. Starting Salary with a Master’s Degree is $40,040. We accept all years of prior experience and all levels of education.
Free lunch; employee pays 10% of single health care, retirement plan, and 50% of children’s tuition.

Education and Experience
Bachelor’s degree in Education or other similar field with a School Counselor Endorsement
