Principal Duties and Responsibilities

Skutt Catholic High School is seeking a dynamic and passionate English Teacher for a potential opening for the 2026-27 school year.

Responsibilities:

Instruction: Deliver engaging and effective English instruction aligned with curriculum standards across multiple grade levels.
Catholic Formation: Integrate Catholic values and beliefs into the learning experience and model the school's mission in daily interactions with students.

Student Growth: Foster a positive and inclusive classroom environment that promotes student learning, critical thinking, and personal development.

Assessment & Evaluation: Develop and administer appropriate assessments and provide timely, constructive feedback to support student progress.

Collaboration: Actively participate in school-wide initiatives and work alongside colleagues to enhance the learning experience for all students.

Professional Development: Demonstrate a commitment to ongoing growth by engaging in professional learning opportunities that strengthen classroom practice.

Education and Experience
Qualifications:

Candidates must hold a valid Nebraska teaching certificate with an endorsement in English. While candidates of all faith backgrounds are welcome to apply, a respect for and willingness to support the Catholic mission and traditions of Skutt Catholic is essential.
