Principal Duties and Responsibilities
St. Pius X Catholic Church is seeking a dynamic, faith-filled leader to guide and grow our parish’s lifelong formation ministries.This role oversees Faith Formation for all ages, Religious Education, Youth Ministry, OCIC &OCIA, Baptism prep, Confirmation discipleship groups, Sacramental Prep for the parish and school, and collaborating with other staff on evangelization efforts in the parish.

Requirements
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities• Faith Formation and Youth Ministry
• Wednesday Evening Religious Education – Family Formation model
• Baptism Preparation for Parents
• Develop Confirmation Candidates (and families) as Disciples
• Sacramental Coordinator for St. Pius X/St. Leo School
• Initiation of Adults, Children over the age of 7
• Parish Library
• Safe Environment
Education and Experience
• Degree/Certificate in catechesis, ministry or theology is preferred
• Working Knowledge of catechesis
• Theological Knowledge
• Program Planning and Coordination
• Communication, People Skills, and Team player
• Administration and Management
• Vision and Implementation of that Vision
• Openness to learn
