Principal Duties and Responsibilities

Holy Name Catholic School is excited to invite a caring and enthusiastic Elementary Teacher to join our faith-filled learning community. We are seeking an educator who loves working with students, values strong relationships, and is passionate about helping students grow academically, socially, and spiritually.

Creates a positive, structured, and engaging classroom environment
Supports and models faith in daily interactions
Provides engaging, student-centered instruction across elementary content areas
Differentiates instruction to meet the needs of all learners
Builds strong relationships with students and families
Uses assessment data to guide instruction and celebrate student growth
Collaborates with colleagues and contributes to a supportive elementary team

Requirements

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
Knowledge of elementary content and effective teaching practices
Ability to engage and support elementary learners
Strong classroom management and organization skills
Skill in differentiating instruction to meet diverse needs
Effective communication and collaboration skills
Familiar with Marzano Instructional Strategies a plus

Education and Experience
Valid Nebraska teacher certification or ability to obtain one
Experience preferred, but not required
Background check must be completed
Safe Environment Certified
