The President of an Archdiocese of Omaha school serves as the chief executive and primary spiritual leader, responsible for advancing the school’s Catholic mission, vision, and overall reputation. Accountable to the Archbishop, Superintendent, and Board of Directors, the President provides strategic leadership, oversees financial sustainability, and cultivates strong relationships with families, alumni, donors, and community partners. Working collaboratively with the principal, the President ensures effective oversight of academic, spiritual, and operational functions while promoting a culture of respect, collaboration, and faithful Catholic identity.** This position maybe combined with the responsibilities of the GACC Principal or the GACC Advancement Director.

Requirements
Knowledge, Skills, and AbilitiesPossess and able to consistently demonstrate the following personal and professional qualifications:
• Active practicing Roman Catholic in full communion with the Church
• Strong professional with a Christ-centered approach towards all people
• Demonstrated experience working with and understanding the needs of students
• Proven, effective communication skills, understanding the diplomacy required to work with a varied constituent group
• Exceptional organizational and strategic thinking skills
• Demonstrated self-starter with experience to work independently, set schedules, prioritizes tasks, and work with others in a team setting
• Demonstrated experience in creating a vision and leading others toward that vision for the total evangelization mission of the Church
• Life-long learner, continued evidence of continuing formation
• Demonstrated leadership skills including: building relationships, conflict resolution, coaching, delivering feedback, holding others accountable, empowering and motivating others and other general management, supervision and skills
• Strong Computer Skills
• Willingness and ability to work evenings and weekends
Education and Experience
• Bachelor’s Degree or above. (required)
• Experience and full knowledge of professional development/advancement activities as well as communications and public relations activities. (preferred)
• Previous experience in fundraising, marketing and public relations activities for Catholic schools or Catholic entities. (preferred)
• Training in development and institutional advancement activities. (preferred)
