Principal Duties and Responsibilities
Marian is a college preparatory, all-girls Catholic school. Full-time teachers are responsible for teaching 6 classes and managing a homeroom. We use a block schedule with 3 classes and 1 plan period per day. Marian High School is a collaborative environment with strong professional learning communities. We are a one-to-one iPad school with digital tools, resources and professional development to assist teaching.Requirements
Knowledge, Skills, and AbilitiesDevelop and implement comprehensive language curricula and lesson plans aligned with state and national standards.
Utilize a variety of assessment strategies, Incorporate cultural context and insights into language instruction to enhance student understanding and utilize diverse teaching methods and materials to accommodate different learning styles and abilities in the block schedule.
Education and Experience
Marian is a college preparatory, all-girls Catholic school. Applicants should possess a Nebraska teaching certificate with a 9-12 World Language - Spanish endorsement.
