Reports to: Executive DirectorPrincipal Duties and Responsibilities
As the "Ima" (House Mom), you will assume the vital role of a mother figure for each resident. You are responsible for supervising the daily life of the house, maintaining order, and fostering a nurturing, family-oriented atmosphere consistent with Mater Filius's manual and values.Key Responsibilities:
• Ima: Willingness to represent the role of a mother for each pregnant resident who enters the House, providing emotional and practical support.
• House Supervision: Supervise all aspects of house life, ensuring order is maintained and all activities align with established house rules and procedures.
• Resident Well-being: Always ensure the well-being of the residents (Mathis), helping them feel welcome and encouraging participation in the family dynamic of Mater Filius.
• Reporting: Objectively and truthfully report everything that happens in the house to the Director of Operations.
Requirements
Knowledge, Skills, and AbilitiesCommunication & Mediation: Excellent interpersonal skills used to facilitate clear communication and mediate conflicts effectively between Mathis. (Mothers)
Crisis & Problem Solving: Proven ability to troubleshoot facility issues and respond calmly, effectively, and promptly to emergency situations or crises.
Organization & Time Management: Strong organizational skills to manage, diverse tasks, track deadlines, and maintain records.
Technical Proficiency: Competency in basic office software (e.g., Microsoft Office Suite). Abilities
Role Modeling & Community Building: The capacity to foster a welcoming, supportive, and inclusive "home-like" environment while upholding organizational values and standards as a positive role model.
Autonomy & Adaptability: Flexibility and self-direction needed to manage operations independently and Adapt daily operations to meet the changing needs of the Mathis.

Confidentiality & Discretion: The integrity required to handle sensitive personal and chapter information with strict confidence and professionalism.
