Principal Duties and Responsibilities

Teacher opening for the 2026-2027 School Year
St. Mary's is seeking a Catholic educator with in-depth knowledge of teaching best practices and educational processes who is willing accept the call to ministry in a Catholic School. Responsibilities include planning and executing lessons and activities across a variety of subjects developmentally appropriate for Pre-Kindergarten students aged 4 and 5.

Requirements

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
The ideal candidate will exhibit a love of learning and a dedication to providing an education that nurtures students' hearts and minds. In addition to having excellent written and verbal communication skills, our ideal candidate will also demonstrate outstanding presentation and interpersonal abilities. Familiarity with instructional technology and basic technology skills are required.

Education and Experience
The successful candidate will have a Bachelor's Degree in education or an early childhood related field and a valid Nebraska teaching certificate. Experience is preferred, but not required.
All teachers and staff who work with children and youth are required to have Safe Environment Certification or the willingness to become certified through the Archdiocese of Omaha Safe Environment program.
