Principal Duties and Responsibilities

Guardian Angels Central Catholic School is seeking a dynamic and mission-driven 7–12 Science Teacher with a passion for middle-level science and biology. This full-time position begins in the upcoming school year and offers the opportunity to teach in a supportive, faith-filled, and academically rigorous environment.

We are looking for an educator who is committed to student growth, collaborative teaching, and the integration of Catholic values into the learning experience.
Key Responsibilities
• Design and deliver engaging, standards-based instruction in middle-level science and high school biology.
• Foster a classroom culture of inquiry, critical thinking, and scientific exploration.
• Develop and implement hands-on labs, projects, and assessments that support diverse learners.
• Integrate Catholic values and teachings into classroom instruction and school life.
• Participate in school events, Masses, and student activities as a visible and supportive faculty member.
• Maintain strong communication with students, families, and staff to promote academic and personal success.

Requirements

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
• Valid Nebraska Teaching Certificate or eligibility to obtain one.
• Demonstrated knowledge of effective instructional strategies and classroom management.
• Commitment to the mission and values of Catholic education.
• Strong interpersonal, organizational, and communication skills.
• Willingness to engage in ongoing professional development and mentoring.

Education and Experience
Bachelor’s degree in Science Education or a related field (Master’s degree preferred).
