Reports to: Nicole Cook

Principal Duties and Responsibilities

Provide a welcoming and hospitable point-of-contact for adult, parent and student inquiries in-person and via phone and email

Work collaboratively with other staff and offices in the parish and Archdiocese

Assist with hospitality for meetings and events as directed/needed

Coordinate program calendar for Mission Team

Prepare supplies, information, and handouts for formation programs

Maintain sacramental records for Religious Education and Order of Christian Initiation of Adults

Work with Accounting Coordinator to understand and communicate monthly budget updates

Submit communication needs to Communications Coordinator

Provide clerical support to catechists and volunteers

Attend meetings and events as requested by Director of Mission and/or Pastor

Annually update record of Mission and Formation volunteers’ Safe Environment certifications

Other duties as determined by Pastor and Director of Mission

Requirements

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
Active and engaged in the Catholic Church with a desire to grow in personal spirituality

Advanced multitasking skills suited for a high-paced environment

Proficient written and oral communication skills

Bilingual in English and Spanish desired

Computer experience required, with a knowledge of Microsoft Office products

Ability to quickly learn and use parish database system

Self-motivated with the ability to see projects through to completion

Education and Experience
3+ years of administrative work in an office setting

High School Diploma or equivalent

Must maintain Safe Environment certification through the Archdiocese of Omaha throughout employment
