Principal Duties and Responsibilities

Saints Peter and Paul Catholic School is accepting applications for a Middle School Math teaching position for the 2025-2026 school year. The Math teacher:
- fosters math development, computation skills, and a love for math while integrating Catholic teachings and values into the curriculum.
-implements a comprehensive Math curriculum aligned with grade-level standards.
-creates diverse and culturally responsive lessons that promote critical thinking, communication skills, and a love for math.
-provides engaging instruction that caters to various learning styles and abilities.
-effectively manages classroom activities, transitions, and behavior while fostering a positive and respectful atmosphere.
-develops and administers formative and summative assessments to measure student understanding.
-maintains a cooperative working relationship with all stakeholders.
-demonstrates ethical behavior and confidentiality.
-performs other duties as assigned.

-Serve as a lead role model, guiding students in moral and ethical development.
-Able to create a supportive, inclusive, and respectful classroom environment.

Education and Experience
Bachelor's degree in education with a proper endorsement in Math.
Valid Nebraska teaching certificate with a proper Math endorsement.
Completion of Safe Environment Training and background check.
Previous experience teaching Math preferred.
