Principal Duties and Responsibilities

St. Margaret Mary seeks a part-time primary grade intervention teacher for the 2025-26 school year. Interventionist would be working with grades Kindergarten-4th. St. Margaret Mary is known for academic excellence, a competitive salary scale, our close-knit and supportive community and our staff longevity. We are looking for someone who is student-centered, seeks knowledge and professional development and would be collaborative with our school team. Position will be up to .6 FTE and will be flexible on hours depending upon applicant's availability and the needs of the school. (For instance, openness to schedules such as T-W-Th with no Mondays or Fridays). Position open until filled.


Requirements

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
A strong background in primary-level pedagogy, reading instruction based on the science of reading and math teaching experiences is desired. Responsibilities would include interventions, push-in or small group instruction, progress monitoring and coordination of SAT (student assistance team) meetings. Familiarity with STAR reading and math products will be helpful, but not required. Applicant must be skilled in accessing digital resources and use of technology.

Education and Experience
Previous classroom experience is required, and special education endorsement is not required. Valid Nebraska teaching certificate or ability to procure one is required.
