Principal Duties and Responsibilities

St. Margaret Mary seeks a middle school teacher for the 2025-26 school year. This position is teaching language arts and literature to grades 6-8 (two sections each grade). A strong background in those subject areas or a willingness to learn is desired. Wea are seeking a faith-filled educator who is mission driven. St. Margaret Mary is known for academic excellence, robust parent support, a competitive salary scale, a supportive community and staff longevity. Our teachers are student centered, seek knowledge and professional development, and would be collaborative with a strong 6th-8th grade teaching team of six. Position open until filled.


Requirements

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
St. Margaret Mary is a 1:1 school and proficiency in Google Classroom LMS is expected. Applicant must be able to utilize and incorporate digital teaching lessons as well as traditional methodology. Knowledge of Facts SIS is helpful, but not required. This position would start in August 2025.

This position serves as 8th grade homeroom and advisor with some duties related to 8th grade graduation.

Education and Experience
Elementary Certification and either possession of NE teaching certificate or ability to get one is required. Middle school experience or certification preferred, but not required.
