Reports to: Casey Wildman

Principal Duties and Responsibilities

• Assist teachers in classroom management and instructional activities.
• Support students’ individual learning needs.
• Prepare instructional materials and resources for classroom use.
• Monitor student progress and provide feedback to teachers.
• Assist with student supervision outside of the classroom (e.g. during recess, lunch duty, etc.).
• Collaborate and follow daily instructions from classroom teacher and/or principal.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
• Professionalism, strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to follow directions and work collaboratively with teachers and staff.
• High degree of multitasking and strong time management capabilities.
• Self-motivated with strong willingness and ability to learn new systems and adapt to procedural changes.

Education and Experience
High school diploma or GED.
Archdiocese of Omaha Safe Environment Certification required.
Previous education or childcare experience preferred, not required.
Bilingual in English and Spanish Preferred, but not required.
