Principal Duties and Responsibilities

Christ the King seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated Middle School Science Teacher to inspire and engage students in the study of science. The ideal candidate will foster a love of learning, encourage scientific inquiry, and develop students' critical thinking and problem-solving skills. This individual will collaborate with colleagues, design engaging lesson plans, and support the academic, social, and emotional development of middle school students.

Requirements

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
*Develop and deliver engaging, hands-on science lessons aligned with curriculum standards.
*Plan and implement lessons aligned with school, state, and national science standards.
*Implement classroom management strategies that promote respect, responsibility, and collaboration.
*Encourage students to develop critical thinking and problem-solving skills.

Education and Experience
* Nebraska Teaching Certificate (or in process of becoming certified)
* Safe Environment Trained
* Expertise in curriculum, instruction, and assessment in content area
* Experience working with Middle School student population is preferred
