Principal Duties and Responsibilities

Saint Stephen the Martyr Catholic Church is seeking a Director of Parish Operations. The Director serves as a key member of the pastor’s Leadership Team and oversees and directs a broad range of responsibilities to provide the necessary support and infrastructure for the mission of the parish to thrive. This person is responsible for overall leadership and direction of the parish operations team, including staff and volunteers, who are engaged in administration, advancement and stewardship, communications, maintenance and care of buildings and grounds, and information technology.

Qualifications:

Practicing Catholic with a servant mentality and the ability to engage all parishioners, staff and those seeking Christ with a spirit of faith, hope and charity.
•
Highly collaborative with the ability to develop and maintain healthy working relationships with staff members, parishioners, and members of the community.
•
Organized and able to manage and prioritize multiple projects.
•
Working knowledge of human resources practices, facilities management, advancement, communications, and information technology.
•
Strong Microsoft Office skills.
•
Strong verbal and written communication skills.
•
Undergraduate degree in business or related discipline and/or equivalent professional experience.
•
Experience working in not-for-profit operations or church management.
