Department: Business / FinanceReports to: Business & Finance Director
Principal Duties and Responsibilities
• Accounts Payable activities, entering bills & invoices, print and mail checks.• Pay monthly clergy stipends, pay Archdiocese and other groups for 2nd and special collections
• Reconcile main bank accounts and all Clubs & Group bank accounts
• Reconcile credit card statement, enter credit card transactions into QB, collect receipts for credit card purchases.
• Enter online donations into QB and donor database
• Make monthly journal entries into QB
• Assist with bi-monthly payroll
• Prepare and make occasional bank deposits
• Act as general business support for the 5-day school, gain understanding of the FACTS Tuition Management System and FACTS Student Information System.
• Track memorial donations to the parish and assist with the memorial process
• Assist with parish events as needed.
• Assist with the ordering and organization of office supplies for the parish office.
• Act as supplementary desk/phone coverage Monday – Friday during office hours.
• Other duties as assigned.
Requirements
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities• Knowledge of basic office equipment and Microsoft Office products
• General accounting knowledge and QuickBooks experience preferred
• Excellent interpersonal, written, verbal and communication skills
• Data entry accuracy and overall attention to detail
• Ability to organize time, set priorities and meet deadlines
• Some moderate physical activity is required
• Ability to support personnel with basic office skills and general office processes

Education and Experience
Minimum of high school education is required; a college degree is preferred. 3-5 years of general office or related work experience preferred.
