Principal Duties and Responsibilities
We are looking for a Full-time Music Teacher who will bring the joy of music to our preschool-8th grade students. This position would be for the third quarter beginning in January and go through May. We have Music curriculum that is already planned and ready!This position requires the teacher to develop lesson plans, formulate classroom instruction, and The teacher will create a caring, Christian, and positive learning environment for academic, social-emotional, and spiritual development. The teacher will provide accommodations to support the student’s growth in the Music curriculum and if necessary also work with resource staff to adjust instruction to meet the needs of all students. The teacher will maintain the student’s academic progress and records to document the progress of the student through the year. The teacher will maintain a line of communication between the parents, students, administration, and fellow general school staff.

-We are looking for candidates who possess skills in communication, listening, collaboration, adaptability, and patience.
-The teacher will set high classroom expectations in all academic areas and ensure lesson plans align with the Archdiocese curriculum.
-Utilize a variety of assessments to evaluate academic performance and adjust lessons to meet the needs of all students.
-The teacher will also work with the resource teachers and PLC team to ensure every student is learning to the best of their ability.
Education and Experience
A valid Nebraska Teaching Certificate or Provisional Nebraska Teaching Certificate or a Transitional Teaching Certificate or a Local Substitute Certificate
with a Bachelor's degree in Education (or other related field) from an accredited college or university.
Applicant must complete a background check and the Archdiocese of Omaha required Safe Environment training.
Strong in their understanding of and living out their Catholic faith.
**Would love to have a teacher endorsed in music education, but it is not necessary
