Principal Duties and Responsibilities

Humphrey Saint Francis Elementary and Archangels Catholic High School is seeking to hire a cook to prepare and serve meals for the school lunch program. This position has the potential for advancement to head cook.

Hours are 7:30 AM - 1:30 PM and follows the school year calendar.

Requirements

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
You will be required to follow recipes and program guidelines. You will be responsible for food preparation, serving, assisting in completing food production records and maintain a high standard of food sanitation. Support other cafeteria staff members by assisting with cleaning, prepping, and cooking tasks. Be able to safely use large kitchen equipment or willing to learn how. Employee will provide positive role modeling through interaction with students and staff by exhibiting appropriate employability, social and life skills. Take part in annual continuing education/training programs.

Education and Experience
While prior food service experience is preferred, we are open to candidates who may not have direct experience but possess the right skills and qualities. If you are a qualified and motivated individual, we are happy to provide the necessary training to ensure your success in this role.
