Principal Duties and Responsibilities

We are seeking a Teacher Aide for Elementary Grades 1-5. The Aides principal duties and responsibilities include assisting the classroom teacher with all classroom responsibilities and duties. Including student records, remediation, supervision, and classroom environment as directed by the teacher. We would consider offering a part time position for qualified candidates who are not interested in working full time.

Requirements

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
Applicants should be familiar with and understand the emotional needs of 7-1 2 year old children. Applicants must be patient, kind, and eager to help our students grow in their love for learning and for Jesus. A qualified candidate will enjoy working on a team and have a collaborative attitude with their supporting teacher.

Education and Experience
Qualified individuals will have experience working with young children in an educational setting, or a preschool/ child care setting and will complete Safe Environment Training and a background check.
