Principal Duties and Responsibilities
The Data and Volunteer Relations Coordinator is an essential member of the Emergency and Supportive Food Service Team. This individual assists with recruitment and management of food pantry volunteers for the Agency and provides support to the food pantry team by entering and verifying accurate data records in the PantrySoft software system. An ideal candidate will have a strong background in data verification and management, excellent communication and people skills, and a passion for supporting volunteer efforts.Coordination of the Catholic Charities’ Volunteer Program:
Creates outreach strategies in conjunction with CCEO and others to attract potential volunteers and promptly follow up.
Communicates via phone, email, and in person to develop relationships with volunteers.
Works with HR to process applicable background checks for potential volunteers.
Works with staff of the food pantry to achieve the best fit and a satisfactory placement for each volunteer.
Maintains volunteer records in the Volgistics software
Assists in implementation of training, supervision, and recognition of volunteers, as well as ensures proper procedures are followed.
Tracks and records volunteer hours in conjunction with pantry staff and assists with reporting of volunteer hours and data.
Coordinates volunteer files.
Data Management:
Verify data related to food/non-food pantry donations, distribution, and client demographics.
Enter data accurately and promptly into designated databases or software systems.
Ensure data integrity and confidentiality in compliance with organization policies and regulations.
Ensure that the data stored in the database is accurate, consistent, and up-to-date across all systems.
Assist with pantry data reporting.

Bilingual in English and Spanish preferred. Able to read, write, and communicate effectively in both languages.
Education and Experience
Knowledge and support of Catholic Charities’ purpose, mission, vision, values, and ethical standards.
Knowledge and support of the Catholic Charities Compliance Program requirements including – but not limited to – the Code of Ethics, the Compliance Policy, and all relevant compliance procedures.
Ability to demonstrate sensitivity to the service population’s cultural and socioeconomic characteristics.
Minimum of 1 year in an office setting
