All Saints Catholic School is accepting applications for a Middle School ELA teaching position for the 2024-2025 school year. The English Language Arts teacher:- fosters language development, literacy skills, and a love for literature while integrating Catholic teachings and values into the curriculum.
-develops and implements a comprehensive ELA curriculum aligned with grade-level standards.
-creates diverse and culturally responsive lessons that promote critical thinking, communication skills, and a love for reading and writing.
-provides engaging instruction that caters to various learning styles and abilities.
-effectively manages classroom activities, transitions, and behavior while fostering a positive and respectful atmosphere.
-develops and administers formative and summative assessments to measure student understanding.
-maintains a cooperative working relationship with all stakeholders.
-demonstrates ethical behavior and confidentiality.
-performs other duties as assigned.
Requirements
Knowledge, Skills, and AbilitiesPatience, creativity, and a passion for middle school students.

Serve as a lead role model, guiding students in moral and ethical development.
Able to create a supportive, inclusive, and respectful classroom environment.
Education and Experience
Bachelor's degree in education with a proper endorsement in ELA.
Valid Nebraska teaching certificate with a proper ELA endorsement.
Completion of Safe Environment Training and background check.
Previous experience teaching ELA preferred.
