Principal Duties and Responsibilities

The CUES School System is immediately seeking qualified applicants and accepting applications for an Early Childhood teacher. The teacher will work daily in a Catholic faith-filled teaching environment to form and develop our youngest students.
This position requires planning, facilitation of learning for students, ongoing assessment and creation of a positive learning environment.
This position requires collaboration with students, parents and building staff.


Requirements

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
High and clear expectations for students
Daily lesson planning aligned with Creative Curriculum
On going assessment using Teaching Strategies GOLD and progress monitoring
Willingness to adjust instructional plans to meet the needs of all students
Strong understanding of the social and emotional needs of young children
Age appropriate classroom routines that align with our mission of God's Love, Kindness and Excellence
Effective communication skills staff, parents and building administration

Education and Experience
A valid Nebraska Teaching Certificate for Early Childhood Education is required
Applicants must also complete a background check and the Safe Environment Training upon hire
