Principal Duties and Responsibilities

Mercy High School, an all-girls Catholic high school founded by the Sisters of Mercy, is accepting applications
for the position of Head Softball Coach for the 2024 - 2025 school year. The Head Coach will supervise
offseason conditioning of student athletes and work specific events as assigned by the Athletic Director.

the inspiration of young girls to become confident Women of Mercy who embody faith, knowledge, and
compassionate service.

Requirements

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
- Committed to the mission of Mercy High School
- Experience coaching softball is preferred
- Strong rapport with students, faculty, staff, and parents
- Maintain consistent communications with the Athletic Director
- Supervision of offseason conditioning

Education and Experience
- Experience coaching softball
- Certifications in CPR and First Aid required
- Have or be able to obtain either a Teaching, Coaching, or Special Services Certificate
- NFHS Online Classes - three are required before the season starts
