Department: Testing ClinicReports to: Director of Health and Wellness
Principal Duties and Responsibilities
Responsible for greeting clients, determining client-testing needs, and scheduling clients appropriately. Assist withNebraska Parent Care Network and Ekyros database entry; develop Word Documents and Excel spreadsheets as needed and general clerical assignments. Serve as a trained Resource Advocate on a rotating schedule or when needed.● Greet walk-in clients and schedule clients. Assess individual needs and prepares them for testing service appointments;
● Answers phone when needed, schedules appointments and directs calls as appropriate;
● Professionally and calmly, minister to abortion-vulnerable and abortion-minded callers;
● Inputs data into Ekyros database and the Nebraska Parent Care network database.
● Maintains all Client Intake paperwork and Informational paperwork for center;
● Manages music and speakers for Lobby during open hours;
● Maintains and sanitizes Lobby area for clients.
● Ensures outdoor signage is placed and retrieved daily.
● Empties trash for the center at the end of the shift.
● Ensures the front sidewalk area and back door entrance of the center is clear of snow and salted during the winter season.
● Sends out text appointment reminders via Ekyros for the next business day for Maple Village. Follows up with No Show texts or calls for clients who missed appointments;
● Scans and enters STI Treatment charts into the Medical Drive;
● Emails/Faxes Treatment Case Reports to Douglas County Health Department;
● Uploads STI lab order into Nulirt.
● Scans copy of Discharge Summary and enters into Ekyros client Sonogram form
● Maintains Google Review Spreadsheet for clients giving permission for Google Review link.
● Maintain i-Pads by regularly updating and clearing documents that have been uploaded in the client files and ensure pads are fully charged for the next shift.
● Ensures outgoing mail delivery including STI lab boxes to the post office daily.
● Attend monthly staff meetings
● Attend monthly One-on-One meeting with Nurse Manage
Requirements
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities● Commitment to the mission of EPS, awareness, and willingness to become familiar with the agency’s services;
● Ability to perform under high pressure and stressful situations;
● Provide loving, non-judgmental service and care to abortion-vulnerable and abortion-minded women;
● Ability to manage multiple projects at one time;
● Excel in interpersonal skills as needed for a crisis environment;
● Able to accept the direction of authority;
● Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook and Publisher). Computer literacy to include PC and iPad;
● Excellent verbal communication skills to interact with clients in a professional manner in person and on the phone;
● Attention to detail and follows policies and procedures; and
● Team player and willing to assist with miscellaneous duties as assigned.
