Principal Duties and Responsibilities

Our Program Director will supervise and support maternity and family programs, case managers and intake process for Bethlehem House. Consult with residents and family services as needed. Manage client staffing and direct weekly meetings for all staff. Cultivate an environment of compassion, love, empathy and support.

Responsibilities
• Supervise and manage: Case Managers for AfterCare and Family Life programs
• Completes Intake process for new residents
• Supervise and manage a 24/7 schedule for client support staff
• Develop and maintain relationships with healthcare partners, state DHHS, Judicial systems, industry partners, law enforcement, community and faith congregations and state/county health departments
• Establish performance objectives and professional goals with staff. Provide regular performance reviews and feedback
• Identify and resolve problems in a timely manner and provide reports and documentation of events.
• Work with minimal direction, supervision and collaborate with various levels of employees
• Provide support during a crisis. Assess situation. Provide appropriate interventions. Report to appropriate authorities. Document and submit report to Administration and Authorities
• Attend Conferences to enhance learning opportunities that will support this position and Bethlehem House as a whole
• Prioritize and plan work activities
• Evaluates budget status with monthly financial updates
• Participates on budget and revenue projections
• Prepare and submit recommendations on capital budget expenditures
• Support and implement program curriculum for the families we serve, including:
• Parenting
• Addiction and Recovery
• Healing and Trauma informed care
• Health and Wellness
• Financial Literacy and Independence
• Spiritual Formation
• Nutritional Awareness
• Support Group Therapies, Community Programs
• Family Reunification
• Mental Health Therapies
• Birkman Method & Assessment


Requirements

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
Qualifications
• Undergraduate degree in Social Work, Family Studies, Healthcare, Child and Family Welfare, Addiction Recovery or
related fields
• Adoption counseling and knowledge
• Current BLS Certification
• Current valid driver's license
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and experience in adapting and learning new software and web-based systems

Preferred Skills
• Master's Degree
• Experience leading, managing and coaching team members
• Strong verbal, writen and interpersonal communication skills
• Ability to interact with clients with sensitivity to diverse cultural and socioeconomic characteristics+
• Minimum of 8-10 years of experience in human services, health, or related field

Education and Experience

• Work environment: May experience high stress, emotional situations with residents in crisis
• Required ability to manage situations calmly and effectively. While performing duties of this job, it is required to stand,
walk and sit.
• Must be able to life or move, on occasion, 25 pounds
• Will be required to perform other duties as requested, directed or assigned
• Position requires a background check and a negative drug screen as we are a drug free work environment
• Gas reimbursement available at the IRS allowable rate; must provide own transportation to complete travel requirements
of the job
