Principal Duties and Responsibilities

The St. Pius X / St. Leo school community is currently accepting applications for a special education teacher assistant position for for the 2023-24 school year.

The position will require that the teacher assistant work alongside our special education teachers in helping them plans for provide interventions, accommodations and to provide general support with the students’ participation and progress during the school day.

Requirements

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
The teacher assistant will work daily in a Catholic, faith-filled environment to form and develop students. The teacher assistant must also be flexible and able to in collaborate with the special education and grade level teachers.

Education and Experience
High school degree or equivalent; Associate degree in education or a related field preferred
Safe Environment Certified
