The Director of Belonging, Diversity and Inclusion will work collaboratively with school leadership and students to foster a respectful and inclusive culture. This position will be instrumental in progressing how Marian High School supports, retains and recruits underrepresented students, faculty and staff.This position reports to the president and will interact with the principal, faculty, staff and students on a regular basis. This resource is committed to creating and sustaining a Marian community where all can thrive, and will be engaged in advancing cultural competency within the organization.
1. Collaborate with school leadership to enhance the ways the entire Marian community supports, retains and recruits underrepresented students and their families.
2. Provide targeted, proactive support to underrepresented students and their families.
3. Develop partnerships with external organizations to enhance the ways Marian supports underrepresented students and their families.

Education and Experience
> Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university
> Five or more years of related experience in diversity and inclusion, education, student success, leadership, organizational development or relevant field
> Experience in strategic planning, organizing and leading Belonging, Diversity and/or Inclusive professional development opportunities
> Demonstrated track record of participative leadership
> Extensive knowledge of critical issues of belonging, diversity and inclusion, including experience with driving positive outcomes for students
> Record of success in working with and advising various constituents' complex belonging, diversity and inclusion needs
