Reports to: School Principal

Principal Duties and Responsibilities

*Ability to plan lessons for grades 6th-8th in the Catholic faith.

*Communicate and collaborate effectively with the middle school team.

*Work in partnership with the parish staff in preparing students for the Sacrament of Confirmation.

*Employ a variety of teaching models to engage different learning styles and ability levels in the classroom.

*Prepare motivating and stimulating lessons that reflect knowledge of the curriculum, instructional strategies, and student abilities.

*Update curriculum and materials as needed.

*Integrate social-emotional learning within the classroom environment through teaching and classroom management.

*Demonstrate strong classroom management skills.

Requirements

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
Candidate should be a practicing Catholic.

Education and Experience
Must have a valid Nebraska teaching certificate. Endorsement in theology or related field preferred.
