Principal Duties and Responsibilities

•Roncalli Catholic High School is hiring for a Benilde Program Director. The Benilde Program Director is a special education teacher who will lead the Benilde Program.

•Roncalli Catholic's Benilde Program provides daily academic support for highly-motivated students with mild learning differences


Requirements

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
•Provides students with documented learning differences the opportunity to thrive in a college preparatory high school
•Assists students with academic support
•Ability to work with students to develop their study skills to be successful in high school
•Assist students in strategies for learning & test taking
•Promote the idea for students to grow in self advocacy
•Be able to communicate with students, parents and teachers
•Update students and families on their progress weekly/monthly
•Teach summer religion course in the month of June.

Education and Experience
•Be an active and faithful member of the Catholic Church, or if not a practicing Catholic, acknowledge respect for Catholic teachings on faith and morals and agree not to act in a way openly contrary to them
• Education: Bachelors Degree in Special Education; Masters preferred
• Certification/Licensure: Must hold Certification in Special Education.
