Principal Duties and Responsibilities

Guardian Angels Central Catholic Elementary School is accepting applications for an upper elementary teaching position for the 2023-24 school year. The position will require that the teacher plans for, teaches, and facilitates learning for students and creates a positive learning environment. The teacher will provide interventions and accommodations to support each student's participation and progress in the general curriculum. The teacher will also maintain academic progress and records for students while also working collaboratively with students, parents, and building staff.

Coaching Opportunities for 2022-23 include: Assistant Cross Country, Jr. High Football, Jr. High Volleyball, Cheer & Dance, Jr. High Wrestling, Head Boys Golf, and Assistant Track

Requirements

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
The teacher will work daily in a Catholic, faith-filled environment to form and develop students. This individual must maintain high classroom expectations in all areas and develop and implement daily lesson plans aligned with the Archdiocese curriculum. This professional must be able to use a variety of rigorous formative and summative assessments to evaluate individual academic progress and adjust instructional plans to meet the needs of students while setting and reinforcing clear expectations and routines that align with school-wide mission and goals. The ideal candidate must display effective communication skills with staff, parents, and administration.
