Principal Duties and Responsibilities

Guardian Angels Central Catholic School is currently accepting applicants for a morning Preschool teacher for the 2023-2024 school year. The successful candidate will facilitate student success and growth in academic areas, as well as social-emotional, and spiritual areas. The successful candidate will build a positive rapport with all stakeholders and will facilitate the education of all individuals in a positive and professional manner.

Requirements

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
Applicants must have a background in early childhood education, Catholic faith preferred, classroom management and the ability to manage duties associated with an early childhood self-contained classroom.
-Demonstrates a willingness to learn, grow, and improve as a teacher.
-Prefer experience in small group instruction as well as instructional routines for whole class.
-Maintain a positive attitude and approach.
-Support colleagues in and out of the classroom.
-Represent the school in the larger community in a positive manner.

A valid Nebraska Teaching Certificate is required. An endorsement in Early Childhood preferred but not required. Applicants must also complete a background check and the Archdiocese of Omaha Safe Environment training upon hire
