POSITION TITLE: Citrix Administrator

Supports Citrix XenApp environment of Citrix XenApp Servers, Citrix Provisioning Servers, Citrix NetScalers in a VMware ESXi environment utilizing Windows Server 2012 R2, 2016 and 2019. This position will work with the existing IT team to implement, manage, maintain, deploy, troubleshoot, and support internal Windows and Citrix environments. This position will require implementing new system hardware and software, and developing operating procedures and policies as needed or requested. This position will need to be adept at monitoring and maintenance of the ongoing operation of the environments and identifying problems and corrective actions as needed.

Citrix Infrastructure
• Configure, manage, and deploy all components of Citrix infrastructure including application publishing, system monitoring, troubleshooting, end user support, license monitoring, and system documentation.
• Configure, manage, and deploy Citrix Netscaler cluster.
• Participating in the evaluation, planning, design, and implementation of new application initiatives.
• Plan, deploy and test updates/upgrades.
• Build, manage and provision new servers using Citrix Provisioning Server.
• Configure, manage, Citrix profile manager.
• Configure, manage, and deploy Citrix advanced endpoint analysis scanning.

Windows and AD
• Support existing Windows Server 2012 R2/2016/2019 environments.
• Plan and configure Windows based Group Policies.
• Plan and configure VB login scripts.
• Manage users and groups.
• Maintain Windows 2012 R2/2016/2019 based Active Directory.
• Analyze data to identify or resolve operational problems.
• Server and database administration.

• Configure, manage, and deploy VM’s.
• Plan, configure and monitor VCenter resources.

Fortinet Firewall
• Maintains firewall policies and security related configuration.
• Plan, coordinate, and implement network security measures to protect data, software, and hardware.
• Maintains FortiGates, FortiManager and FortiAnalyzer related configurations and reports.

Configuring and maintaining hardware/software/settings
• Configure, manage, and deploy end user workstations and thin clients.
• Configure, manage, and deploy servers and server applications.
• Review and Remediate logs related to network functions, as well as maintenance and repair records.
• Install and test performance of hardware and software.
• Monitor the performance of computer networks.
• Antivirus and Antispyware client and server administration.

Network Security and Storage
• Perform security checks.
• Plan, coordinate, and implement network security measures to protect data, software, and hardware.
• Develop computer or data security policies or procedures.
• Perform data backups and disaster recovery operations.
• Configure and manage Nimble iSCSI SAN.

• Provide support to local and remote end users.
• Troubleshoot software, hardware, and connectivity issues.
• Manage incidents within the ticketing system.
• Other duties as assigned.

• Must have experience in configuration, troubleshooting, and administration of Windows 2012 R2//2016/2019 servers in Citrix XenApp 7.x or later environment.
• Experience with Citrix Provisioning Server.
• Must have experience with NetScaler.
• Windows Server 2012 R2, Server 2016, Server 2019.
• Strong working knowledge of Active Directory.
• Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Desktop and Server Operating Systems including but not limited to Windows 7/8/10, Server 2012 R2/2016/2019, OS X.
• Strong knowledge of Office 365, Azure Active Directory, and Azure Multi Factor Authentication.
• Strong working knowledge of TCP/IP and Windows Networking.
• Must have experience in supporting VMWare ESXi environments.
• Must have experience in configuration, troubleshooting of GPOs and Citrix policies.
• Proficiency with management, control, and monitoring of server infrastructure.
• Ability to identify technical issues and implement effective and timely solutions.

• Background in and/or knowledge of the Catholic Church with a demonstrated commitment to the mission and teachings of the Church.
• Bachelor’s or Associate’s degree in a computer-related field.
• 2-4 years’ experience deploying administering and supporting Citrix XenApp.
• 1-year experience with XenApp 7.X.
• Preferred Certifications:
o Citrix Certified Professional - Virtualization (CCP - V).
o Fortinet NSE 4 Professional.
o Microsoft's Certified Systems Engineers (MCSE).

• Routine office environment; ADA-accessible building.

• Some travel as necessary throughout the Archdiocese of Omaha.
