Principal Duties and Responsibilities

Prepare Bank Deposits
Post contributions to software
Prepare and send donation acknowledgements
Pay invoices, mail checks, file invoices
Reconcile credit card transactions
Post parent payments to student information system
Prepare mass stipend report
Maintain records/file storage management
Assist Director of Finance/Pastor as needed


Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
Knowledge of St. Margaret Mary's missions and Roman Catholic teachings
Comprehensive working knowledge of Microsoft Office and Quickbooks
Excellent interpersonal and verbal communication skills
Ability to work independently, be self-motivated and have an eye for accuracy and detail
A proven record of working cooperatively and flexibly as part of a team
Ability to maintain confidentiality
Understanding of accounts payable processes

Education and Experience
1 to 2 years experience as a bookkeeper or relevant experience
Safe Environment training and background check required
Working hours have some degree of flexibility. At least 30 hours required
