Principal Duties and ResponsibilitiesThe Director of Marketing and Communications is responsible for developing and implementing the long-term marketing and communication vision for Mercy’s brand which promotes its unique position in the marketplace. Responsibilities include:
•Planning, developing, and implementing all marketing strategies - both internal and external communications.
•Manage the strategic and creative design of Mercy marketing and communications activities and materials;
admissions/enrollment; website, social media, video production; alumnae relations; institutional advancement; media
relations; & President's Office.
•Coordinate media interest in the school and ensure regular contact with target media and appropriate response to

RequirementsKnowledge, Skills, and Abilities
Self-Starter; Detail oriented.
Website-principles of design, graphics, composition, copywriting, & editing.
Excellent verbal & written communication skills.
Proficient in Microsoft Office 365 (Outlook, Word, Excel, & PowerPoint).
Ability to learn various computer applications.
Education and Experience
Bachelor’s degree (BA/BS) or equivalent from accredited four-year college preferred, ideally in journalism, communication, graphic design or marketing, and or three to five years related experience.
