Principal Duties and Responsibilities

The preschool teacher will be responsible for providing age-appropriate instruction for 3-year-old students. The teacher will work collaboratively with the Administrator and Pre-Kindergarten teachers to academic, social/emotional, and behavioral support for students.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
• Ability to use patience throughout the day.
• Ability to differential instruction for the various needs of students in the classroom
• Ability to structure a school session that includes consistency for students
• Good communication skills with parents and co-workers
• Ability to be flexible
• Ability to be creative
• Able to be able to work at the level of the students (i.e. sitting on the ground, sitting on low to the ground chairs, mobility required for young students.)

Education and Experience
Qualifications:
• Experience with Early Childhood children
• Strong knowledge of strategies used for early learners
