Principal Duties and Responsibilities

Mater Filius, Nebraska, established in Omaha in 2014, is a Catholic maternity home for women without financial or family resources. We are a non-profit organization that serves women and teenagers. We offer an Early Childhood Learning Center (ECLC) for the children born at Mater Filius, Nebraska until they turn 3 years old.

Responsibilities include providing a safe and loving environment for babies 6 weeks to 3 years old while supporting children’s emotional and social development and encouraging understanding of others and positive self-concept.

Requirements

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
Applicants must have a love for children, a desire to defend life with love and be open and flexible to the ever changing needs of the mothers and children we serve at Mater Filius.

Education and Experience
Applicants must be current in safe environment training and cpr certified
Experience working with young children is preferred
