Principal Duties and Responsibilities

- Communicates effectively with parents and students

· Builds positive relationships with parents and students

· Collaborates well with 5/6 Language Arts team to ensure proper scope and sequence of instruction

· Flexible in instruction; thrives in differentiated, Individualized, and leveled instruction

· Planning and executing rigorous workload (Reading & Writing classes)

· Comfortable differentiating instruction for both resource students and highly gifted students

· Passion for excellence in Language Arts education

Requirements

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
-Supporting and upholding the philosophy of Catholic education and the mission of Christ the King Catholic School

-Represents the school in the larger community in a positive manner

-Integrate the Catholic faith into all subjects and school environment

Education and Experience
-Must possess a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in education
-Middle School Endorsement, Language Arts emphasis
-Must possess a valid Nebraska teaching license
